In cooperation with investigative journalist Dennis l’Ami, this project focuses on the history and future of the ‘Groene Hart’ area in The Netherlands, more specifically on how the historical development of this man-made landscape has shaped a collective identity.

Realtime Motion Design

The supernormal - Artist-in-residence / Book Project

The supernormal

Artist-in-residence

Book project

From september 2017 - february 2018, i have been working at NIAS (Netherlands Institute of Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences) as part of a fellowship offered by the KNAW and the Akademie van Kunsten. Tinbergen’s original data on the famous experiment on the colour of the spot on the lower mandible differ from the well-known textbook figure showing the strongest response to a red spot.

De meeuwen van Tinbergen

De meeuwen van Tinbergen

Theatre performance

exhibition

bird excursion

lecture

Lecture Performance on supernormal stimuli with Bas Haring

On march 12 2012, I will present a lecture performance about supernormal stimuli in cooperation with philosopher Bas Haring and actor/director Alexander de Vree.
